The Company’s industry leading Customer Insight Manager (CIM) platform allows our clients to measure, manage and enhance the quality of their customers' experiences through point-of-experience deployments of Web, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and mobile feedback technologies, combined with real-time, easy to understand management reporting.
Leger Metrics’ is currently seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive revenues in the retail sector (mostly large multi-location chains in the retail, casual / quick serve dining, automotive, hospitality…). The Senior Sales Executive is expected to lead all sales efforts within his/her assigned territory, including prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls/meetings, managing the sales cycle from qualification to proposal development and from contract negotiation through deal closure. He/she will be responsible for developing effective sales strategies in targeted market segments as well as tactical execution. The Senior Sales Executive is expected to meet sales goals established by the company, while delivering the highest standard of personal integrity, professionalism and customer service to our clients.
You are, first and foremost a “hunter” not a farmer. As such your focus is on landing new accounts and closing deals. You are a strategic thinker and have a proven track record in opening doors, getting to and influencing key decision makers in target accounts. You are experienced in selling complex software solutions and professional services into major accounts within vertical markets. You possess strong relationship building skills at the V and C-level and are capable of delivering impactful and persuasive sales presentations to client and prospect accounts. You are extremely self-motivated; goal-oriented and highly organized.
> Develop effective sales strategies in key retail/consumer market segments using a Target Account Selling approach (research, account penetration strategy, prospecting, lead generation, qualification and scoping, closing strategies, negotiations…)
> Proactively generate new leads and sales opportunities through aggressive networking and prospecting. This includes cold calling, meeting with clients and prospects and leveraging marketing / PR activities of the company
> Partner and collaborate with Leger Metrics’ marketing team to develop and execute campaigns to drive demand generation and to build highly persuasive collateral to support sales efforts
> Develop in-depth knowledge of our solution and service offerings in order to effectively convey our value proposition, product features, business benefits and competitive advantages
> Deliver effective, highly personalized sales presentations/product demos to customers and prospects while building the business case to demonstrating clear ROI
> Establish, build, manage and maintain relationships with senior executives (decision makers and influencers) within client and prospect companies
> Understand and scope client needs, develop detailed and highly professional sales proposals and actively participate in contract negotiations with aggressive follow-up to close sale
> Represent Leger Metrics at industry conferences and trade shows
> Ensure prompt follow up on all leads from trade shows and marketing campaigns
> Develop and maintain an astute understanding of the competitive landscape including competitor strengths and weaknesses and our competitive differentiation;
> Manage the sales process and opportunity pipeline; provide weekly sales activity reports and pipeline forecasts; meet or exceed quota expectations
> Participate in sales planning and strategy meetings
> At 5-10 years of experience selling enterprise application software solutions (ideally SaaS-based) and professional services to vertical markets. Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in retail and consumer markets
> Entrepreneurial “hunter” mentality
> Proven track record of achieving sales quota
> Demonstrated success in selling into large accounts at C and V-level audiences
> Consistent track record for identifying new business opportunities and managing a complex sales cycle from generating leads to closing deals
> Excellent presentation skills
> Must possess innate business acumen in order to qualify opportunities and report sales pipeline accurately and consistently
> Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, salesforce.com…)
> University degree (Computer Science, Business Administration or Marketing)
> Fluent English (oral and written) with French a definite asset
> Willingness to travel
